While attending Notre Dame, Christopher Dorvault was the recipient of the Baldinger Award as outstanding premedical graduate. Dr. Dorvault earned his medical degree in 1994 from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he also served as president of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where he was named chief of staff during his final year of residency training.
From 1998-2002, Dr. Dorvault served as a radiologist in the United States Air Force at Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama, where he was also the top graduate of Commissioned Officer Training School. He served as Chief of Radiology from 2001-2002 and was the recipient of the Air Force Commendation medal prior to his honorable discharge in 2002.
Dr. Dorvault has been a member of the Medical Staff of West Florida Hospital since 2004, serving as Chairman of Radiology since 2005.
